By the way this is my second review of Euphoria, the last time was when S1E1 released in June of 2019.
This show is one if not the best depiction of a Teenage drama I have ever seen, even though the situations might be a bit much the Acting,Writing, Directing,Cinematography, Lighting, Costuming, Makeup, Set Design are phenomenal. This show changed my life in 2019, and is very relatable to the current generation. Euphoria does not shy away from topics and contains strong drug use, nudity and sex and heavy themes throughout, but these moments despite shocking have depth and meaning.
Euphoria does not judge any characters for who they are, but praise's them. The cinematography and lighting I might add encapsulates you in the moment, it feels like a twisted dream of blue and purple. The characters have depth, flaws and layers which makes them all the more relatable. The acting particularly from Zendaya, Hunter Schafer, Barbie Ferreira and Jacob Elordi (This show proves he can act, as being a terrifying sociopath) Even the shows main antagonist Nate has layers. No character is one-dimensional. The topics and storyline that each of these characters goes through are all equally compelling and relatable and is is overall an amazing emotional masterpiece.
Each episode is better than the one before with excellent narration and character backstory. Can't wait to see what happens in Season 2. While this show is targeted at teens I think it would be OK for maybe mature 16 year old's and over. The trailer doesn't even encapsulate how great this show is.
