the film was aesthetically beautiful, i felt as if i was in the midst of an italian summer drinking peach juice. made me want to travel and fall in lust. timothee was a dream. however, the cinematic beauty is there to distract you from how cliche the script really is. the only reason i didn’t give up watching 30 minutes in, was in hope of it getting better. it didn’t. truly had the ability to be a heartfelt, romantic movie. lacked character depth and development, ‘oliver’ was all over the place, i couldn’t tell if i was meant to hate or love him. overall an okay film. my apologies to the set design, cinematographers and actors because the script/storyline really let everything down.
