I know, I know. Its cool to hate Colleen Hoover but I just don't and this movie was so perfect. I read this book a year ago and I felt like I watched it play out exactly as I imagined.

Oh wow, this was horrific. I made it through one hour and I decided to turn it off. Addison Rae is adorable but her acting is very one dimensional. You can tell she put her all into it so I think that counts for something. Some of her lines just lacked emotion.. like any emotion. I dont see the chemistry everyone keeps talking about. Neither one seemed comfortable at all and had absolutely nothing in common with one another. Her ex boyfriend is supposed to be in high school but he looked 35. There was so much product placement I felt like I was watching a commercial for Old Navy. I think Addison has hope as an actress but all in all this movie is BAD.

This movie was a disaster. The last two weren’t award winning, but they were cute. This one was so unrealistic and outrageous. It starts with teens being able to stay alone in a beach house with their significant others. Never have I seen a parent agree to something like that. Literally every character has some incredibly unhealthy relationship happening at all times. Those brothers need THERAPY lol. I dont know why we’re acting like this friendship is in any way healthy. The problems go much deeper than Elle not putting her future first in her decision about College. I give it two stars for the wholesome ending but the movie leading up to the end is a whole bag of cringe.
