There is only so much violence towards women I can be led to believe is, in some convoluted way, entertainment. Lately, one of the lead actresses in the program, has taken to "whispering" her lines. Why is she whispering? Is she losing her voice? Am I to accept that a sympathetic Detective must "whisper" to a victim for said Detective to be perceived as genuine? Where is the Director? Marissa (actress), appears exhausted and exasperated when she "whispers". I cannot be manipulated into finding her acting more effectual because she communicates with other actors in this manner. I feel like she is tired of doing this show, and repeating the same lines over, and over, again! Writers unite and save Marissa's credibility!
