I loved the original. As a child it was always so magical. I am liking the new one ok. I miss a few things. The iconic “De Plane De Plane” and although she has said it a few times “smiles everyone” and greeting the guests at the plane. Sometimes it happens. Sometimes it doesn’t. But the thing I miss the most is the consistency of two different fantasy’s .this one has weird mixes of one fantasy or one fantasy and a touch of someone on the island. There is way more plot for those who live on the island which is ok but I prefer the guests. And Ruby’s accent is driving me nuts! She got a young body but has to still talk like an old woman??? Over all it is good. And I am still watching. But mostly because I keep tuning in to see if the pace picks up or if they add missing elements. I may not stick around for season 2.
