I've watched this since the evolution from "Chewing the Fat" to its own show. Over 20 years and I still rewatch episodes. This has been dvd to streaming and its hard to put into words the depth and sheer comedy of the 9 series. With larger shows like this with many episodes you can get the odd episode which doesn't quite make the bar, that isn't the case here. There really are some belters in the early series, but this quality of delivery and storyline still comes through in the later series albeit a little differently. You can tell the difference (increase) in production quality and makeup as you enter the later series but the hilarity is consistent.
Really worth a watch, has stood the test of time and a tribute to the Scottish sense of humour and fun.
