From an Art Direction point of view, I'm not too keen on the lighting, rather too bright and artificial, especially in dark corners, which makes the whole scene, look a little unnatural. The sound too, is rather flat, as if dubbed.
The acting so far, is a little wooden. But the beautiful settings make up for these misgivings. Altogether, a brave commission and worth giving a chance,if only for the beauty of India. Hopefully the story, dialogue and characters will grow stronger with time. Sorry, but the first episode of any new series, should blow it's audience away with a gripping story or charismatic character and so so far, Beacham House does neither.
