Me being a massive Bleach fanboy aside, this was a really good action, somewhat Horror,Chanbara, Dark Fantasy movie. New eyes would perceive it as the above genres. Fanboys may hate it. Some would like it. Things were changed here and there but certain things would've to change when you're making a live-adaption. If not then what would explain the success of the MCU movies? Who would pay just to see the exact same, spot on, piece by piece same story of its source material counterpart anyway? I'll just look at the original source material for that am i'm right? The Bleach live-action Proves that catching Lighting in a bottle can happen more than once.
+ Good enough CGI and special effects. That was used sparingly.
+ Convincing enough character dynamics and development.
+ Comedy was for the most part enjoyable.
- Could ditch some of the strong anime montages
- Outfits could be better and not so "porn-parody-ish."
- The score could be mile stones better.
