Ready to Run did for me just what the title suggests - prepared me to run. I began training for the New York Marathon by leafing through this book front to back. Much like Kelly Starrett's famed book, The Supple Leopard, it offers a framework for health and well-being through the guise of a runner's world. I keep this on kindle and paperback for a life reference and page-turner that shaped me into a successful long-distance and tempo runner.
