It’s not brilliant but it’s nailed the vibe of classic 70s and 80s film styles. Very reminiscent of Twilight Zone. I would have preferred it simple, revolving around the box and leaving out the ultra sci-fi lab stuff but the days of Twilight Zone classics are gone. I do like Cameron Diaz but why the southern accent, it’s not very good and it’s Virginia not Alabama!?
