If this game were free and I was testing out bugs or got paid for my opinion, I could appreciate the difficulties and inconsistencies of a beta or alpha test. However, I paid $30 for this game and I’m annoyed. After countless hours of building a rooftop mansion in the town on a private/local game, having experienced countless glitches (more than 10) where it restarts the game entirely for no reason at all, we luckily never saw any save issues. Until today. Upon opening the game we encountered another glitch only moments in, and half of our supplies were deleted, among half of the actual house, just vanished. Hours of our lives suddenly vanished from thin air. Don’t get your hopes up if you’re looking for a quality game. Graphics are PlayStation 2 level at best, and it’s unreliability is heavily outweighing my desire to trust it to save anything I accomplish again. Medicine stash, completely gone. Secure perimeter completely gone. Weapons and tools almost completely gone. They only obey some laws of physics but ignore structural integrity and for some reason my people are constantly either too hot or too cold (because it’s ALWAYS ****ing raining!!!!) and support beams, without abiding by the laws of gravity (except for when they feel like letting your roof cave in if you walk on it) needs to be re-examined. Also, fix the issue where you can’t have more than one object in a single cube of space. Seriously disappointing.
All in all, I blew off my steam above, and think there is potential behind the idea, but needs reworking on the quality, and consistency of the graphics, and their pseudo laws of physics.
