I love Ryan Gosling and Emily Blunt so I went on opening day. Sadly the movie was basically one long stunt sequence with no real script and no characters. I lasted about an hour. In the lobby I saw the poster that read “FROM THE DIRECTOR OF BULLET TRAIN”. That explained everything.

Much ado about not much. Elizabeth Moss is always strong. I’d rather have watched Her Smell again.

Nicely shot, weak writing, forced acting, phony emotion, some humor, good action until it becomes repetitious and sort of boring.

I was thoroughly disappointed.it seemed like a weak excuse for creepy sadistic violence made “artistically” justified by a cast who usually make classier choices.
