Wasn't scary at all. Social justice was ham fisted pretty bad, but it wasn't Marvel levels of bad. The directing was good, sound effects were mostly good, and acting was good. Some scenes and shots were pretty good too. It wasn't terrible but it wasn't great as I'm sure I'll forget this movie in a month. Too much exposition at the beginning and the end was unclimatic and dull. The middle was this movie's strong point. They did a good job on the bees. The vilifying of the police towards the end was so unbelievable that me and my (black) wife had to pause the movie to bust out laughing. Im glad it was rated R and had violence. That's it, I guess. Not the worst thing I've seen but certainly not worth 20 bucks.
