Honestly, it a very different; unique book from all the fiction I've read. I was confused in the beginning, and the first few chapters weren't as interesting. I would say, your reading level should be at least high school leveled. The book talked about race and taboo topics. Scout, the main character shows her world in an extraordinary way. She's a mature little child, who learns the way of Maycomb. Her father, Atticus a fine man, teaching Scout and Jem the way of living, and being fair. Jem, the older sibling is more playful and he does arouse many issues. The book gets suspenseful when the court case is taken place. I personality that the book not as interesting, mainly I'm more into the mystery. I still loved the way the book described and portrayed. For those who don't know, it talks about some taboo talking with cussing.
