The movie Buff

Many people have decided to bash the movie for weak direction and bad acting and when I went to watch the movie I was expecting it to be a drag and complete bore. But I was surprised that it was not the case. I found the movie a bit slow at the start but after the movie finishes u realize that u have been engaged from beginning to end. It is a roller coaster ride of emotions. I didn't think much of Meghna Gulzar after Raazi, but this movie touched my heart for sure. May be it is Deepika's soulful acting that did the magic this time. Perhaps ppl who didn't like Deepika's acting in the movie are fans of loud and over the top acting. Her accent is a bit weird still but her performance is definitely one of the best in this decade. If you are expecting this movie will thrill and make u sit at the edge of ur seats then u will definitely not like this movie. There is no surprise or thrill element in this movie. It's more about telling the story of Malti and Meghna Gulzar deftly tells the story of Malti from her own point of view.
