I've bought every single pokemon game and their spinoffs. I have bought every single Nintendo console from the last two decades with the exception of the switch 2 waiting to see how ZA would be after the shakiness of Scarlet and Violet. ZA is lazy slop trying to ride off the nostalgia of a time when Gamefreak and Nintendo cared. There are a whole host of games that are twenty years old that look better, play better, and are less buggy than ZA.

The ending(s) ruined the game. There were no stakes, your decisions do not matter. I enjoyed the game right up until the last few moments of the where they smashed the foundation of the plot they setup and invalidated hours of gameplay with poorly executed twist. It felt like the worst episodes of the twilight zone instead of the best like "until dawn" did. The writers need to calm down and think of where they want to go with a story instead of making it feel like awful improve.
