Uninspiring clone of big hero 6 Predictable Emotionless Not adult friendly

There is a unique charm to this show, Something you wouldn't expect from one of Netflix's original cartoons from other disasters such as "F is for Family" and "Hoops". But I'm so glad we watched this series, we only finished it the other day and what do you know? A movie pops out. As well as endearing and well-rounded as it is I've still got my fingers crossed for a season 3. The lovely charm of the cast minced with the unique style, the interesting mythical designs, this show is perfect with your afternoon tea. I find myself comparing Hilda to other classics such as "over the garden wall" and "Adventure Time" Now that I have your hopes high, you should definitely watch it. My one critique however is that Hilda slightly lacks Plot and Surprise. You can pretty much guess what's going to happen at every turn. But I didn't mind. - 5 stars incredibly relaxing and enjoyable.

Stunning visuals, there better plots for sure.

The dialogue and voice acting was good, the script was confusing and the pace was off. The audience is confusing, and though they pretend like this is all in "the name of accuracy" im pretty sure Hansel and Gretal didn't get drunk off food, and I'm certain there wasn't any 4th wall breaking crows. Overall: tacky, awkward but still has some redeeming qualities, disappointingly meh.
