this game is trash. mario kart 64 and mario kart 7 are way better. the game has items, but they arent for the player. out of all the items in the game, you will almost always get coins (useless). rarely you will get a better item such as single shells, and the horn, but the best are reserved for the computer. in over a month of playing this game i have never gotten triple shells, lightning, boo, or blue shell, or the star. this is very different from previous games where items were totally random.
