Great movie, however, most humans are followers. That's not a criticism just a fact... So I felt what was lacking in this film like most documentaries I've seen is the concrete solutions.
So my suggestion is release a sequel ASAP with solutions. Humans are not evil, we just tend to follow. Let us know what is the more suitable solution or solutions to live our lives, built an economy and optimize technology. I'm not saying the solutions you provide will be the best but at least the conversation shifts from criticism and blame to inspiration and solutions.
I did not find the film particularly inspiring but rather depressing. We need facts but we also need creative solutions. Encourage us all to be thinking about solutions, no matter how crazy they may seem at first.
Am I passing the buck or criticizing? In some way yes but I'm also offering a solution to making your film more profound and effective to the larger audience. The world now more than ever requires solutions.
One solution in my opinion is people should take time to meditate each day and go for walks in nature, leaving their mobile devices at home. It has so many benefits including the ability to think more clearly, more intelligently and find that eternal peace within us all. I don't personally believe the answers will come from left and right wing politics. I think the solutions will come when humanity shifts their consciousness, meaning a greater sense of emotional intelligence, such as (compassion, understanding and empathy) global values and of course Love. Thank you!
I looking forward to the sequel if you choose to follow through with my friendly suggestion.
Sincerely,
Steve Flemming
