This game is amazing. Powerful story and fully realized characters. Nothing in the plot is forced or contrived. Themes like revenge and grief are complex and nuanced. I appreciated that they weren't simplified in order to create clear heroes. I honestly don't get the one-star hate in regard to the plot. The first installment was full of moral ambiguity and loss as well. To each their own, I suppose. Gameplay is much like the first game, including crafting and skill mechanics, so no surprises for returning players there.
