This movie was a fantastic seed planter for an entirely new franchise rebirth. My understanding is that people expected something way more, but they aren’t giving this the chance it deserves to let the story flourish into something greater. It is those shortsighted individuals that can’t see what the intent is with this film. It is the non-visionaries that disliked it and are expressing disappointment. For the most part it is merely groupthink that has taken hold and the parroting of what others say. Very reminiscent of what is portrayed about society in the film Don’t Look Up, which depicts a reflection of a society getting closer to what was portrayed in the film Idiocracy…We are in trouble 🤦‍♂️
