I never really feel the need to make a public review for a show, but this, this is gold. As a Black American, I didn't think I'd be able to relate much to an Indian American, but they did a great job at teaching Indian culture, and also intertwining American culture into it and making it interesting. I loved that I could also relate to Devi as a normal teenage girl. This show allocated all of their resources in the perfect fashion. It had the perfect amounts of drama, school, home, comedy, fluid emotion, morals, culture, identity, and social issues. Each episode had me clicking for the next; with this show you'll never get bored. I grew so connected to every chatacter. I laughed, I smiled, I was astonished, and I even cried. The last epidsode had me crying, tears legitimately strolling down my face. It's rare for a show to cause that for me, which just completely crystallizes the high quality of this extraordinary show. This isn't the typical teen dramedy that I thought it would be. It's way better in every factor, and so I reccomend you all watching it, you won't regret. ❤
