No improvements. You see the big difference between the original dev (ensemble studios) and the new one (relics entertainment). What I see is a renowned game name picked up for your wallet. Years of waiting for a game that looks like an 5€ RTS on steam (search for cheap Aoe looking game and compare). I used to play Aoe mainly for the competitive side but rank games are not even available and you cannot personalize your shorcuts…which is quite annoying for an RTS. The customization map does not exist tho and many other things. The only good side is that it brings a new RTS to play with many active players, that’s all.
