A very good cast supports a good script with pulsating action depicting the challenges faced by those early settlers of the West. But two issues embellished this film. One, can onetime 'Bad' men change to 'good' and how greed for money, gold in this case, can wreak havoc on a man's soul leading to murder and death.

A rare western focusing on character motivations, life choices, erudition or lack thereof, relationship to women. The violence was secondary. Thoroughly enjoyed.

A dark depiction of madness and enabling partner. Edge of the seat excitement, but claustrophobic setting. Not for everyone but I enjoyed it.

Fun movie that doesn't take itself too seriously. Outrageous profanity laced dialogue with some sex scenes with little skin exposure. Reminded me of a latter day 'girl' version of Animal House.

Monotonous flat script, monotone Voices, mechanical acting.

I was waiting for a good payoff, moral or 'kid writer makes good'. Neither happened. Everyone died, Michael lives but with no realistic, viable future. The acting was fun with Moon, King David and Blue with plenty of 'skin', but in the end I felt like I wasted my time.

The WORST movie I've seen in a long time. Everyone but Wahlberg dies, the Russians outsmart us at every turn, the violence is gruesome and for what end?

Much ado about nothing. I am glad I saw it alone as that's how stupid I felt for investing the time.

Geez. Garner should know better. She's a likable actress but the script, director, costars, ugh!

Twists and turns aplenty. Not always logical, but a ton of fun and large quality cast.
