Mockingjay is a science-fiction novel written by Suzanne Collins. It was published in 2010. It is chronologically the last installment of The Hunger Games series. The Book continues the story of Katniss Everdeen, who agrees to unify the districts of Panem in a rebellion against the Capitol. After the events of Catching Fire, Katniss along with her family, friends, and the survivors from district 12, adjust to life in district 13. Katniss agrees to be the symbol of the rebellion, so the civil war begins between some of the districts agains the capitol and the second district. Reading this book made me realice that this book, is so much more than just a Romantic story of teenagers and their love triangle as many people think it is. It is a social political conflict taking place in a dystopian future, but me it has many realistic scenarios, influenced by capitalism and dictatorship.
