Excellent Alien movie, 8/10. It shifts back from sci-fi towards horror genre (but without being too scary) Young actors did the job well. Fantastic interaction between two main characters. Visuals were spot on- it happens between Alien and Aliens, so lots of retro tech (crt monitors, physical buttons, handles) which fits it very well (Alien:Isolation style). CGI not noticeable. Whole movie is scifi eye-candy. Xenos look fantastic and menacing, I loved classic ones. There were very memorable moments (biggest one was related to gravity, I was really surprised and in awe) Now little spoiler: The film has two endings and I didnt like the second ending as it is too Prometheus like for me (and I dont like Prometheus). Imho movie would be better without it and I would score it 9/10 with 10/10 reserved for original Aliens and Alien. If you are Aliens fan you should see it in cinema- IMAX ideally to see as much of these beautiful sets as possible. Thanks for reading
