Okay so here's the thing most whinged about Killers Of The Flower Moon being so long well you all would have whinged if Napoleon was as well. Just appreciate it for what it is a film that's based on a true story it's not a documentary it's an entertaining film that's well casted, beautifully portrayed, period costumes amazing and the acting was astounding.
I wished it were longer as well and I'm thrilled that there will be a director's cut that is over 4hrs.
The battle scenes were perfect cinematography and wonderfully directed. Napoleon was a huge character with many military battles and I think Ridley did a great job condensing it all I to 158mins. What it also does is spark interest in this historical figure and I would imagine most who saw the film would have educated themselves further. Historians should be thrilled at the newfound interest as history is an important part of who we are now. Let's not let us get lost in the semantics and embrace this film for what it is - a well thought out piece of art that entertains from start to finish!!!
