The movie was poignant, moving some scenes brought me to tears. Cynthia's portrayal of Harriet was brilliant and believable. I didn't fully realize why Harriet Tubman was famous. The director and writer of this movie taught me more than my old history books about this fearless, selfless hero. When the DVD comes out I will definitely add it to my collection
