Just finished re-reading the entire book series and we still don’t have a release date for season 2… I wonder what the delay is. Anyway, as for season 1 of this series, it’s good. If I hadn’t read the books, I wouldn’t be so concerned with the story changes. However, most of us that tuned into the show did so as fans of the books. I just have this to say: 1) I hate the portrayal of Mat. If you’ve read the books, you understand why. He is integral to the Dragons success but you may not know that from this show’s portrayal of him. 2) This series moves pretty quickly and weirdly. My assumption is that part of the reason we are still waiting on a release date for season 2 is that they are having difficulty making the timelines make sense. I’m going to continue watching (if season 2 is ever released) because I need to know how they make this work. 🤷🏽‍♀️
