An interesting expose against sex trafficking, corruption, and the dangers of inaction, this film gave me so much characters for me to hate. There are the sex traffickers who abused the girls out of a power trip, the family members who selfishly sells out their girls, and the corrupt peace keepers who not only patronized the sex trafficking but also helped the sex traffickers get away with their crimes. However, none received so much hate more than the higher-ups and the UN itself who were shone light to the corruption within their law enforcement, but went out of their way to dissolve the entire sex trafficking bust. Worst of all, they straight up have no excuse doing that other than they don't care about the treatment of "war whores."
Combining the true villains in front of you and the government's apathy towards the heinous crimes against women in war, this movie shows a sad reality of how far the corruption spread when inaction and spinelessness drives the government.
