I was really looking forward to the second round of Black Phone BUT I was sadly disappointed due to the storyline being very.. messed up? Not sure that's the right way to put it. There were hinted of Nightmare on Elm Street & Stranger Things.. just from the scenes & ideas of the dreams, which I did like until they brought in the paranormal side of it (her getting thrown around the cabin..) I was thinking they could of gone about this a very different way by doing the backstory of The Grabber himself, growing up as Wild Bill in the school then going to this camp to then show leading up to the murders, what made him do it etc. Really getting to know the character personally. Overall, I just wish they didn't make it like Stranger Things as the first Black hone was totally different, but I guess we have these movies that don't do well the second time around which was a shame.
