I found this film to be an excellent modern take on the vampire genre.
Taking belief in legend and folklore and mixing it with believable modern understanding of mental disorders. In a mix of colour and black and white footage that transported you between past and present (or imagined) lives.
And perhaps a touch of Romeo and Juliet
