I’ve been playing FIFA/EA FC for years, and FC25 just took the frustration to a whole new level. Weekend League (Champions) is completely scripted. It doesn’t matter how well you play when the game decides you’re not supposed to win, you won’t win. Your players feel like bricks, your passes go nowhere, rebounds always fall to the opponent, and suddenly their bronze keeper turns into prime Neuer. Momentum swings are beyond ridiculous. You can dominate a match, hit the post three times, then concede a 90th-minute goal from the other team’s only shot. It honestly feels like the game is flipping a coin behind the scenes and just letting the animations play out. What’s the point of skill if the game constantly interferes? I’m done wasting time in a mode where the outcome feels pre-determined. Stop scripting games and let skill actually matter. Champions? More like casino mode.
