FORGET-A-BOUT-IT 🤷 🎬🎬🎬
As a movie in general it was pretty scattered, if you came in with little Sopranos knowledge you'll probably be lost or likely bored with the dry dialogue and seemingly random plotlines firing off. While having several great actors, their performances felt mostly unutilized or out of place.🎥
As a Sopranos movie it felt mostly feels forced and disingenuous in regards to the show. The young versions of the memorable Sopranos characters, including Sylvio and Paulie are just unnecessary feeling caricatures of their famous roles. 🫣 🤦
Many questionable calls were made:🤔
Unborn Christopher Moltisanti narrating the beginning and end for some reason??🤔
Ray liotta playing two roles in the same movie while looking nearly the same ??🤔
Corey Stoll and Jon Bernthal playing Junior Soprano and Johnny Boy Soprano, Tony Sopranos Very Italian 🇮🇹uncle and Father?? 🤔 "Marone" they sounded like rushed impressions.
3/10 ⭐⭐⭐ Michael Gandolfini actual son of the Actor who played Tony Soprano was a interesting dynamic in the movie if you had the context.
But ultimately the story couldn't make up its mind. It was not the most cohesive film and standalone it just wouldn't be that interesting and for me a Big Sopranos fan, still was not that interesting.
