Just saw the show with Homeinstead. My dad has Parkinson. He has a Dopa pump. He is in assisted living. I cannot find anyone including home health care,to change his pump once a day. Its fairly new "this pump". The company is willing to train anyone and at any place. However, these home health care and assisted living places have rules where this not applicable. I could use ANY HELP. If he doesn't get the carbalevadopa,he freezes and is rushed to hospital. Where that pump becomes a whole new miserable mess. Your not able to bring in medication, but they have no idea what it is,so.....its horrible. We live in Florida. He lives in The Village. We are in a vicious circle.
