If you are close with someone who has Down Syndrome, I wouldn’t recommend watching it. My sister in law has Downs and when my husband saw Wovey compete and eventually pass away in the games, he couldn’t stop crying for hours. To us it was a very insensitive casting choice considering Wovey doesn’t even have Downs in the book originally. It crossed a line for us.
