The coverage on Centrelink changing legislation to use payslips as a form of identifying people's exact pay. This would be more to make it more fare for people as centrelink have not been paying people correctly. They have been short paying people as they have been assuming people are rorting the system. They have been placing everyone into the same category. They are black and white where they have not been listening to people do not even look at information correctly as to what people have been earning. They have been doubling people's income or figures into computer which is incorrect information. Therefore, people have been unfairly penalised by having their claims rejected and people not receiving their correct entitlements. People are not receiving correct backpay by having their claims unfairly rejected by incorrect figures inputted into their computer system. There are too many restrictions and red tape connected with the legislation which is making it very difficult to claim anything even when their entitled. People are left with no money and bills are piling up and Centrelink do not care and want to listen and admit when they have made mistakes. They can see mistakes but don't want to fix mistakes. People have to get their MPs to help when people are in dire strait as they have no one who wants to fix their mistakes. When you are trying to get centrelink to listen they see you as being aggressive and then they kick you out of office or hang up on you. People are wasting so much time and money on phone calls to try to sort mistakes but Centrelink still do not want to help or sort out issues.They always say it is the legislation who obviously does not allow for mistakes. This government t is obviously responsible for this unfair legislation that needs to be fixed. So no it is not people rorting the system it is Centrelink who are not being fare and giving people the money they are entitled to.
