I liked it a lot. Outrageous, extreme, tender, funny. The family are completely mad, yet engaging and believable. I love her frankness and the oddity and vulnerability of her.

Interesting ideas about topical issues but I didn't like it because I really didnt like any of characters in the book. Found them all awful, especially June, so very hard to care about her. She did an awful thing, so if this is the publishing world.. .yuck.

A beautifully written masterpiece of dystopian fiction, documenting what so many people face somewhere in the world each day, their lives destroyed.

A fabulous analysis of how and why a woman is coerced into the faking of her husband's death. What begins as a study of his character and actions, culminates in a study of her behaviour. Amazing acting, extremely moving.

A beautifully made poignant film about grief and regret and taking unimaginable chances. Jim Broadbent and Penelope Wilton give flawless performances worthy of Oscars.
