A love letter to Belfast, its community , its pride and its struggles. Beautiful piece of cinematography, all in black and white which heightens the feel of “the past”and the history of the troubles during the initial separation of the city.
The love story between characters, mother to sons, grandparents to grandsons and families within their community is heartwarming and heartbreaking at the same time.
I came to the film not expecting much but absolutely loved it. The acting was superb and credit to Jude Hill and Catriona Balfe .
