This game could've been amazing. The graphic improvements are astonishing imho, and the gameplay has got better and more dynamic, as well. The first half of it is beautifully written, and the idea of making you play as Abby is original and interesting, but only until Joel's death. The game is deep insofar as it challenges the player's own ethics and blurs the boundaries between good and evil. Still, the hours of gameplay dedicated to Abby after Joel's death are just too many. You lose all the pleasure of playing from that moment on and going on with the game is one of most annoying and pointless experiences I've ever had as gamer. The Abby's side of the story is also poorly written, and nothing you see on screen ever succeeds in making you feel empathy for her. So much time lost on this. The Last of us series has the potential to change the gaming experience forever, but I'd suggest not forcing your fans to waste so much of their time and the feelings invested in the characters that really matters to them.
