From episode to episode the show is quite enjoyable but as an overall narrative the show lacks focus and seems to have no idea where it’s going more than an episode ahead. Luckily when the show gets lost it at least has the musical to come back to if the writers didn’t have a musical to put on in the show I fear the lack of focus would continue to snowball thankfully that at least doesn’t happen.
