Wow, this movie affected me, with characters grappling with being stuck in a heartless material world. It takes you to so many diffetent parts of humanity and the American West. Three men fall in love with Roslyn and she cares for them all, but they are cavalier about killing to survive... her love changes two of these men. The horse-capturing scenes are a wild violent sad depiction of the battle between men and their egos, between human and beast. Amazing cinematography. Just saw it for the first time and now it's one of my favorite movies. I was moved, intrigued and shaken by this movie.
