It was just okay. It was entertaining and some of the effects were cool but I had a hard time with the main character (hero) as others have noted and the sudden failures of the Predator. In a matter of days the main character goes from being unable to kill a rabbit and a deer to killing and beheading an intergalactic hunter. The Predator goes from being able to slaughter anything that comes near it (French colonists and top of the food chain animals) to barely being able to function one on one with our main character time and time again. I get the overall point of the super fast character development but it could have been so much better if they hadn't tried to make another action movie with a message that makes the viewer have to stretch their imagination to believe what they are watching.
