I just got into this book series last year and once I finished Iron Flame in September, I was looking forward to this release. When I say it did not disappoint, that's an understatement. I loved the world building in this book, the struggle Xaden goes through with his new situation and how determined Violet is to not only find a solution to Xaden's problem but find more clues about Andarna's kind. And most of all, Ridoc must never die!!!! He was by far the MVP in my eyes in this book with his humor and loyalty to Violet. I cannot wait until the next book eventually comes out. Rebecca Yarros, you have a fan out of me.
