Virtually unwatchable after a few episodes. The lead female (“Kitty”) is an average-looking young woman with bad teeth and acting skills that would be appropriate in high school forensics. Her character was a little annoying at first, and increasingly so as the show lurched from one woke sub-plot to the next.
Portraying gay relationships in cinema is no longer groundbreaking or provocative, but here it seemed that the show was trying way too hard. The supposed girl-girl relationship between Juliana and Yuri seemed forced, not remotely believable, and devoid of chemistry. But that relationship was poignant and credible when compared to Kitty’s dream state epiphany that she’s got the hots for Yuri… MASSIVE eye-roll.
If the show had gone on a few more episodes without Kitty (after she was expelled from school) maybe a two-star rating could have been attained. Maybe.
It is hard to imagine how the storyline and budget for this cringeworthy, woke-infested disaster was approved. This show was ten hours of my life that I’ll never get back. You’ve been warned.
