Great drama, great characters, brilliant plots. It's a pleasure to watch.

I agree with the others. Rake is one of the best written, most enjoyable show I have watched. Richard Roxburgh is absolutely fantastic. If you lookup the definition of Rake, it means "hellraiser", yet the show has a socially redeeming message.

This is one of my favorite movies as it honestly portrays the mid-life crisis of the modern American male. It also gives a very credible ending, Buddhist truth just emanates from this film.

Rumpole is the hero of old men. We need a new Rumpole series. Is there a modern actor who could do justice to Rumpole? I will always remember the phrase "she who must be obeyed". :-)

I watched this show streaming on Acorn TV. At first, it seemed boring, but then it sucks you in. If you like Roman History, this gives you an up close and personal view of what really happened in the power centers of Rome. It is seen thru the eyes and memories of Emperor Claudius, who writes his memoirs of Augustus, Tiberius, Caligula, and Nero. It is done like a stage play, and if you are a Star Trek fan, even has a major role for a very young Patrick Stewart. I loved it, it is worth watching.

The GRS team showed great valor and leadership in the face of death, and for that reason this is a great movie.
