The family dinner on blue bloods was part of blue bloods doesn't fair well on Boston blue. Cop family daughter going to daddy. Same story different characters. Take a page from Frazier. The only similarity was he was still a shrink. They didn't put him in Seattle and have him walk into a different bar with similar dynamics. It was very successful and I wanted to love this but not working for me.
