I love this show. As a person born into a small town in the South...moved to L.A. and now living a not so small town that still has a small town feel, this is very much true to life when it comes to small towns. Although race relations is better in the show, I appreciate that even more. I know characters like that in person. I grew up with characters like that in person and it speaks to my younger self. When I watch a show I want to feel good, connected and wished I was was apart of the cast and town. And with Sweet Magnolias I definitely do!
