As a newcomer to the Fire Emblem series I really enjoyed FE3Hs. This game does add some cool (if a bit gimmicky) combat options but it doesn't balance out the cons of the game: awful story and character building, tons of half baked systems that feel pretty terrible to use, and limited access to character improvement outside of levels. If you are not sold on Fire Emblem games by the combat itself, I would advise skipping this one.
