Unless you’re playing the pay-to-play modes (ultimate team), EA will surely disappoint you yet again. Waited a decade to finally play college football again? Too bad. Road to glory is bugged beyond all hell. You build yourself up to a starter just to be back at the bottom of the depth chart the following year no matter what. It takes ages to get skill points, and the stats for players you control are horrifyingly bad (a 5 star elusive running back starts with 80 speed). You won’t get to play every down even as a heisman front runner because the game will put other people in as power/third down RB, sub LB, slot WR, etc. and the game is just so so hard to enjoy. All I wanted was a piece of the nostalgia and fun I enjoyed as a kid playing college football. You will not find anything but frustration here. EA pooped all over the bed yet again and has no intention of cleaning up after itself. So much hype, for nothing. Can’t wait for Madden 25 to come out in a few months as an exact copy of this game with different names on the jerseys.
